WHAT IS MGP? POLYWOOD?

RECYCLED PLASTIC FOR OUTDOOR PATIO FURNITURE? REALLY?

YES, REALLY! This material is becoming the hottest trend in outdoor patio furniture by customers and developers when looking to design outdoor spaces in commercial areas and in residential homes.

MGP stands for Marine Grade Polymer. At Elegant Outdoor Living we have been offering the recycled high quality plastic material from manufacturers like Seaside Casual and Telescope Casual. We introduced Telescope’s Bazza collection in our showrooms last season and we could not keep it in stock. The durability, the design, and the story of MGP attracts every customer.

Seaside’s MGP Adirondack chairs are a staple in our store. They come in the most vibrant colors and they are in available in the very traditional lounge chair to more of a contemporary version of a bar stool.

The recycled material is a highly durable plastic perfect for outdoor spaces close to or on the water. Homes on the ocean, Docks, pool lanais, lakes, etc.

MGP is a plastic form of lumber made of virgin or recycled plastic. It is made of 100% plastic

Resistant to cracking and splitting

Manufacturers claim this material is more environmentally-friendly and requires less maintenance than wood/plastic composites or rot-resistant wood. Unlike wood-plastic composite lumber, plastic lumber is 100% recyclable after its original intended use.
